Well, I think it's funny. Maybe you don't. Who knows? Anyway, take a look at the default avatar for my profile. Go on, do it. It's what they put in there when you don't enter your own. I can't be bothered, right? But here's something that struck me as funny. It's perfect. That confused Tankman, and the way he's shrugging. It's perfect for me NOT JUST because I'm too lazy to change it. No no, it actually fits the confusion I have with...the reviews.

Why the reviews? That's an easy one. I can have all manner of styles and temperments in reviews. Angry, vengeful reviews or happy-go-lucky reviews. Highly-serious and informative reviews or total funny nonsense reviews. And you know what? It really doesn't matter what I say or how I say it. Granted, it helps that I'm sticking it to people at times. (People seem to like those if they're not the target of my flak cannons.) But is it necessary?

Some of my reviews, people don't like. Not the ones where I've gotten death-threats and abuse (because there actually weren't too many of those anyway), but the ones people simply labeled as useless with the voting thingy. Maybe they have their reasons or maybe they're full of crap. I can't know because mostly...MOSTLY...I don't get feedback comments (aside from the afore-mentioned abuse) from others. The feedback I ever get are from the people I'm REVIEWING, not anyone deciding if my reviews are good or not.

The odd thing is that I have noticed that there can be two reviews of about equal quality and fervor from me and uhhh...one of them is labeled helpful and one of them is labeled useless. If this were the same person, I'd call 'im a hypocrite. 'Course, it probably ISN'T, but you get what I'm saying. Two reviews of the same level can't be good AND bad. I suppose that means some people need to think more carefully about these things and not be such gits. It's of no concern.

However, the thing about the reviews and the Tankman fit perfectly. I find it all a little confusing, but inevitably I just shrug it off. Ah well.
